I would like to share my interests in Japanese Antiquities in all their myriad forms. Be it art, furniture, figurines or just ephemera of past daily life, you may find a post about it here. My main interest is in Tansu, so this blog may be heavy in that category. The reason; I’ve been a cabinetmaker for many years and it was through Tansu that my ever growing interest in Nihon was kindled. I dont claim to be an expert in these subjects, just an avid fan and scholar. So, Welcome.
